We are delighted to invite prospective families into school for our Whole School Open Morning on Saturday, 28th September 2024.
The Senior School is open from 9am – 12 noon. If you have registered for the 9.15am talk, then please arrive for 9am; you will tour the school after the presentation. If you have registered for the 11.30am talk, then please arrive anytime before 10:30am to allow time to tour the school before watching the Headmasters’ presentation.
Please note that the last tours will leave at 10:45am and the event closes at 12 noon.
Our Senior School is located in Yarm, North Yorkshire and can be found just off Yarm High Street. We are easily accessible for people travelling from around Durham, Teesside, Wynyard and North Yorkshire. Our Estates staff will be on hand to help you park on our school site.
The Headmaster’s presentation covers everything you need to know about joining the Senior School. Senior School visitors will be directed to the reception area in the Auditorium by our Sixth Form students. You will have the opportunity to tour the school, speak to pupils and teachers and get a flavour of what »ÆÉ«app is really like. There is a timetable of activities throughout the morning, including science experiments, dance, drama and sport.
You will be contacted well in advance of the day to organise a specific tour time. Please arrive just before the time agreed – should you be delayed for any reason then please do let us know via email.
All visitors to the Prep School should park at the Prep School car park. The car park is just before (from South) or just after (from North) the Pre-Prep building. The Nursery, Pre-Prep and Preparatory School are located just outside Yarm High Street, across The Spital and on the opposite side to the Senior School.
Visitors to the Nursery, Pre-Prep or Prep School will meet their teacher and pupil guides in the Pre-Prep Hall and begin their tour of the school. You will have the opportunity to meet Mr Bill Sawyer (Prep School Head), Mrs Joanne Speight (Pre-Prep Head) and Laura Rowlands (Nursery Lead) before, after or during your tour.
